The StudyMate product line includes StudyMate Class and StudyMate Author. Details on how to try both applications are provided below.
StudyMate Class: Campus-wide Pilot
A free, 3-month pilot license of the web-based StudyMate Class is available to institutions that use Blackboard Learn, Canvas, Brightspace, or Moodle. This is the best way for an institution to try all features and functionality with their learning management system.
The administrator of the learning management system will need to submit the StudyMate Class License Agreement to initiate the pilot license. Once we receive the agreement, a welcome email will follow with instructions for getting started – including details on installing a server extension (Blackboard Building Block, Canvas External Learning Tool, Brightspace External Learning Tool, or Moodle Module).
If you have questions about the 3-month pilot, please contact your account representative or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can also try StudyMate Class in a "sandbox" environment. Learn more and create a sandbox account.
StudyMate Author: 30-day Trial
A free, 30-day trial license is available for individuals who want to try the windows-based StudyMate Author.
StudyMate Author can be used with all leading learning management systems including Blackboard, Canvas, Brightspace, Moodle and more. (Note: StudyMate Author is a client-based authoring tool and does NOT require extensions to be installed to the LMS server.)
Complete instructions for downloading the application and registering the trial version can be found at http://www.respondus.com/download/studymate.shtml.
