LockDown Browser


A free, 2-month pilot license of LockDown Browser is available to institutions that use Blackboard Learn, Brightspace, Canvas, Moodle, Schoology, or Sakai. This is the best way for an institution to try all features and functionality with their learning management system.


Getting Started

The administrator of the learning management system will need to submit the LockDown Browser License Agreement to initiate the pilot license. Once we receive the agreement, a welcome email will follow with instructions for getting started – including details on installing the required learning system server extension.

Pilot participation is only available at the "institution" level (i.e. only one administrative contact per institution). We recommend that the administrative contact be the LMS administrator on campus.
