For more than 50 years, The Wall Street Journal has offered education programs that help faculty and students use The Journal to enhance learning experiences. Working in conjunction with the academic community, the Journal-In-Education program provides effective ways to integrate both the print and online content from The Wall Street Journal into business and general study courses.
Free teaching tools are available to faculty who use The Wall Street Journal in their classes, including weekly quizzes that allow instructors to quickly assess students’ understanding of content.
As of October 2005, the weekly quizzes for The Wall Street Journal are available in Respondus format. This makes it easy for faculty who use Respondus to publish the quizzes to Blackboard, WebCT, ANGEL, eCollege and other e-learning platforms.
The Respondus-formatted quizzes can also be used with StudyMate, allowing faculty to create interactive Flash activities and games from the same materials. StudyMate opens Respondus files directly, eliminating the need to reformat or copy-and-paste the quiz questions.
