It’s not that the activities and games you’ve been creating with StudyMate aren’t colorful. It’s just that sometimes you -- all of us, really -- need to make changes in life, even if it’s only for the sake of change. Something new, something bright, something... different.
We, at Respondus, understand this basic, human need and have responded by adding seven new color palettes to StudyMate 1.5.5. Never before has there been this much freedom to express oneself through a learning object!
If you’re feeling a bit blue, well, pick the blue palette and let your students know it. Were you previously in the military? Pick the “Khaki” palette and wear your colors proud. If you are the type of person who likes to coordinate colors with the season, then you will appreciate the “Autumn” palette that is now available in StudyMate. The moods you can create with color are limitless! (Actually, there are only eight color palettes in all, so there may be a limit to this.)
The update for StudyMate 1.5.5 is free to all StudyMate users. To obtain the update, follow these steps:
- Start StudyMate and make sure you have a live Internet connection
- Select Help from the menu bar
- Click Check for Update
- Click Get Update
- Upon exiting the StudyMate software, the patch will be applied.
To change the color palette, select the “Settings” menu, click the “Other Settings” tab, and then choose the color palette of choice from the first option on the page. The activities created with StudyMate will then reflect the new colors.
So, if you want to express yourself in a way that you’ve never imagined, or make your Flash objects just a little more flashy, try one of the new color palettes in StudyMate 1.5.5.
