StudyMate is an award-winning authoring tool that lets instructors create Flash-based activities and games and then publish them directly to a course management system or virtual learning environment. Up to 10 learning activities and games can be created using three simple templates. Alternatively, questions or glossaries can be imported from MS Word and other formats, making it possible to create interactive activities from existing content.
The recent update to StudyMate, version 1.5.2, offers integration with the latest releases of Blackboard and WebCT, specifically Blackboard 7.0, WebCT CE 6.0 and WebCT Vista 4.0. StudyMate 1.5.2 also has a streamlined Publish Wizard where selections for server settings are saved as the default, allowing you to skip steps the next time.
The update for StudyMate 1.5.2 is free to current users. To obtain the update, follow these steps:
- Start your computer and make sure it is connected to the Internet
- Start StudyMate
- Click Help
- Click Check for Update
- Click Get Update
- Upon exiting the StudyMate software, the patch will be applied.
