Respondus 3.0.2 Integrates with WebCT CE 6 & Vista 4

If your institution recently upgraded from WebCT CE 4 to WebCT CE 6, you may still be exploring the many new features that are available, including major enhancements to the assessment tools.

One thing you can take off your "to do" list is determining how well Respondus integrates with WebCT CE 6. From the user's perspective, Respondus works with WebCT CE 6 the same way that it worked with earlier versions of WebCT – there is virtually no difference. Sure, many differences exist in the underlying workings of the integration (the part you don't see), but no additional training will be required for Respondus users when they make the move to WebCT CE 6.

Respondus 3.0.2 is the first version of Respondus in which the integration for WebCT CE 6 and Vista 4 is included. To access this new integration for WebCT CE 6 and Vista 4, Respondus users will need to select the "WebCT 6 / Vista 4" setting from the pull-down list on the Respondus "Start" menu. If this option isn't listed, it means that the user is running an older version of Respondus and that an upgrade is required.

If your institution has a campus-wide license of Respondus, you can obtain the 3.0.2 update by starting the Respondus software, selecting "Help" from the menu bar, and then clicking "Check for Update." Single-user licensors of Respondus 3 can obtain the 3.0.2 update using the same method.

If you are using a single-user version of Respondus 2, you will need to purchase an update to Respondus 3 before having access the WebCT CE 6 and Vista 4 integration (see our upgrade policy at http://www.respondus.com/register/upgrade.shtml ).
