Customers often ask about our integration plans for upcoming releases of course management systems. Such questions have been particularly frequent as of late because many of our CMS partners have major releases planned within the next month or two. So we thought a brief roadmap would be helpful for planning purposes.

ANGEL 6.3
ANGEL 6.3 is expected to be released in May 2005. Respondus 3.01 already includes integration for ANGEL 6.3. The beta release of StudyMate 1.5 also includes integration for ANGEL 6.3; the final release of StudyMate 1.5 is expected to occur in June.

Blackboard 6.3
Blackboard 6.3 (commonly referred to as “Application Pack 3”) is scheduled for release in June 2005. Respondus 3.01 already includes basic integration for Blackboard 6.3 -- specifically, it supports all assessment functions and question types that were available in prior releases of Blackboard 6. In July or August, we expect to offer a Respondus 3 upgrade that will support the new question types available in Blackboard 6.3. StudyMate support of Blackboard 6.3 is expected to occur in August.

eCollege AU+
The eCollege platform, which is a hosted environment, is updated throughout the year. However, at the current time, we don’t anticipate the need to update the Respondus 3 software for eCollege AU+.

WebCT CE 6.0
WebCT CE 6.0 is scheduled for release in June 2005. We anticipate having an update available for Respondus 3 shortly thereafter. StudyMate’s integration for WebCT CE 6.0 is likely to occur in August.

Needless to say, all release dates listed above are subject to change. Future editions of this newsletter will provide updated information as it becomes available.
