Respondus Inc. and ANGEL Learning are collaborating on a new integration for Respondus LockDown Browser, as well as an update to the existing Respondus 3.5 integration.
The first integration will enable institutions running ANGEL 7.3 (and all future versions of ANGEL) to use our Respondus LockDown Browser product. We’re excited about this integration because it’s been one of the top requests from ANGEL customers over the past two years. The Respondus LockDown Browser integration should be complete by early summer and it will be distributed by Respondus, Inc.
Both companies are also working to enhance the integration between Respondus 3.5 and the ANGEL Learning System. The most significant new feature is the ability to “Retrieve” (download) an assessment from an ANGEL course so it can be easily edited in Respondus and uploaded to another course. The retrieval feature also enables an instructor to easily create a printable version of an ANGEL assessment (ideal for makeup tests), generate an answer key, create a MS Word version of an ANGEL assessment, and so forth. The Retrieval task will function with ANGEL 7.3+ and is expected to be contained in a Respondus update this summer.
