Lately, the question we get asked most by Blackboard customers is whether our products support Blackboard Learn 9. The short answer is yes; a longer answer follows.
For Respondus 3.5, Blackboard Learn 9 support for publishing and assessment retrieval was added back in February. Not yet supported are the retrieval of assessment reports and data from Blackboard Learn 9 servers, which will occur in the next major release. To obtain the Respondus version that integrates with Blackboard Learn 9, you must run the latest installation program or download the manual patch. (The “Check for Update” feature cannot yet be used to obtain this version.)
For StudyMate Author 2.0, the situation is similar. We added support for Blackboard Learn 9 in February, but you must either run the latest installation program or download the manual patch.
Respondus LockDown Browser and StudyMate Class Server have also been updated for Blackboard Learn 9. If upgrading from an earlier version of Blackboard, the administrator will need to install an updated Building Block for Respondus LockDown Browser or StudyMate Class Server.
