"Love your product! I could rant and rave about it for hours... I've been using Respondus since January, and let me tell you what a lifesaver it has been. We have surveys in each of our online courses (over 80 this spring). At the end of the semester, we have to download that data for the different deans. What had taken at least a month was done in one day with Respondus. This is the best tool in which an online university can invest."

Respondus Update Articles

New Publishers Join the Respondus Test Bank Network

Test banks from 28 publishers and over 2,900 textbooks are currently available from the Respondus Test Bank Network. The latest publishers to make their test banks available in Respondus format include:

Elsevier - A leading publisher of science and health care textbooks for higher education.

Kendall/Hunt Higher Education - A privately owned publisher with product offerings ranging from accounting to zoology.

Health Administration Press - A specialty publisher of books and journals for the area of health services management.

Instructors who adopt a participating textbook can request the Respondus-formatted question bank by going to http://www.respondus.com/testbank and submitting the request form. Once the request is verified by the publisher, the instructor will receive an email containing a file code and password. The instructor can then download the test bank using their Respondus or StudyMate Author software.

The Respondus Test Bank Network is a free service – give it a try if you’re not familiar with it. There is simply no easier way to select questions from a publisher test bank and then publish the assessment to ANGEL, Blackboard, Desire2Learn, eCollege, or Moodle. Respondus-formatted files can also be used with StudyMate Author, allowing faculty to create interactive Flash activities, games and self-assessments from the same resources.

Here are examples of test banks currently available from the latest publishing partners:

From Elsevier:
“Anatomy & Physiology, 7e” by Patton
“The Language of Medicine, 8e” by Chabner
“Wong’s Nursing Care of Infants and Children, 8e” by Hockenberry

From Kendall-Hunt:
“Consumer Behavior: An Applied Approach, 3e” by Hanna/Wozniak/Hanna
“Public Speaking: Choices for Effective Results, 5e” by Makay/Butland/Mason
“Thriving in College and Beyond: Research-Based Strategies for Academic Success and Personal Development, 1e” by Cuseo/Fecas/Thompson

From Health Administration Press:
“Austin and Boxerman’s Information Systems for Healthcare Management, 7e” by Glandon/Smaltz/Slovensky
“Fundamentals of Healthcare Finance, 1e” by Gapenski
“The Law of Healthcare Administration, 5e” by Showalter
