There’s been a lot of buzz lately about Windows 7, and the question we’ve been receiving from all ends of the earth is whether Respondus products are compatible with it.
Let’s start with the short answer: Yes, the latest versions of all Respondus products are fully compatible with Windows 7. While minor issues were found when doing our testing with Windows 7, they were quickly fixed and added to the latest installations of our software.
There is a longer answer, but if you simply remember to download the latest versions of our software, you’ll be fine when switching to Windows 7.
With that in mind, if you are an administrator of a campus-wide license at your institution, we strongly recommend that you immediately download and distribute the latest version of the Respondus product(s) being licensed. This will ensure that anyone running Windows 7 won’t encounter problems.
We’re hearing good things about Windows 7. And now you don’t have to worry about compatibility issues with products from Respondus.
