Wiley Australia, Higher Education Division, is the latest international publisher to offer textbook question banks in Respondus format. Wiley is the leading publisher in the sciences, engineering, and business fields. Wiley Australia is particularly dominant in the area of accounting at universities in Australia and New Zealand, having approximately 70% of the market.
Wiley Australia question banks are available to lecturers through the Respondus Test Bank Network. Lecturers who adopt a participating textbook can request a question bank by going to http://www.respondus.com/testbank and submitting the request form. Once the request is authenticated by staff at Wiley Australia, the lecturer will receive an email that contains the file code and password needed to download the test bank using their Respondus or StudyMate software.
Respondus-formatted question banks make it easy for instructors using Respondus to create tests and then publish them to Blackboard, WebCT, ANGEL, eCollege, and other learning platforms that support the IMS QTI 1.x standard. Respondus-formatted files can also be used with StudyMate, allowing faculty to create interactive Flash activities, games and self-assessments from the same resources.
