Test banks for over 1000 of the leading textbooks in higher education are available from the Respondus Test Bank Network. Instructors who adopt a participating textbook can download these publisher-provided test banks (at no charge) and use them with their Respondus or StudyMate software.

It’s easy for an instructor to request a Respondus-formatted test bank for their textbook:

• Go to the Respondus Test Bank Network at www.respondus.com/testbank
• Search for the textbook being used in the course
• Fill out the request form completely and submit it.

The request is immediately sent to the publisher for confirmation and approval. Once approved, the publisher will email the instructor the File Code and Password for downloading the test bank. The test bank is downloaded within the Respondus or StudyMate software following these steps:

• Select “Open” from the Start menu
• Select “Download Test Bank”
• Enter the File Code, Password, name, etc. and click “Download”

That’s it. The publisher test bank for the textbook will be downloaded to the “Projects” folder at this time. Once completed, double-click the folder name to reveal the files that parallel each chapter in the textbook. (Tip: Go to the “Exam Wizard” in Respondus or the “Quick Copy Wizard” in StudyMate to quickly select questions from the test bank files.)

Test banks from an ever-growing number of publishers are available from the Respondus Test Bank Network, including those from Thomson Higher Education (Brooks/Cole, Course Technology, South-Western, Wadsworth) and Pearson Education (Addison-Wesley, Allyn & Bacon, Benjamin Cummings, Longman, Prentice Hall) and many other North American publishers.

Publishers in Europe and Australia also participate in the Respondus Test Bank Network, including Oxford University Press, Thomson EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and Wiley Australia, among others.
