CQ Press is the latest higher education publisher to offer textbook question banks in Respondus format. CQ Press, a division of Congressional Quarterly, is a leading publisher of textbooks on politics, government, democracy, political campaigns and elections, and policy.
The question banks will be available through the Respondus Test Bank Network. Adopting instructors can request a CQ Press question bank by going to www.respondus.com/testbank and submitting the request form. Once the request is authenticated by staff at CQ Press, the instructor will receive an email that contains the file code needed to download the test bank with their Respondus or StudyMate software.
Respondus-formatted question banks make it easy for instructors who use Respondus to create exams and then publish them to Blackboard, WebCT, ANGEL, eCollege and other e-learning platforms. The Respondus-formatted files can also be used with StudyMate, allowing faculty to create interactive Flash activities, games and self-assessments from the same resources.
CQ Press has begun releasing question banks in Respondus format and plans to have more titles available in the coming weeks and months. Some of the question banks currently available include:
“The Challenge of Politics, 2e” by Riemer, Simon, Romance
“Keeping the Republic, 3e” by Barbour, Wright, Streb, Wolf
“The Logic of American Politics, 3e” by Kernell and Jacobson
