If you purchase a single-user copy of Respondus using a purchase order, a check, or by faxing credit card information to Respondus Inc., you will receive a "Prepaid Activation Code." In order to permanently activate a particular installation of Respondus, follow these steps:
- Download and install Respondus 4 to your computer (if you haven't done so already).
- Start the Respondus software and obtain the "Product ID#" that appears on the opening screen.
- In the form below, enter the "Prepaid Activation Code" that was sent to you and the "Product ID" number for your particular installation of Respondus. Also enter the e-mail address to where you want the permanent activation password sent.
- Once the form is submitted, the permanent activation code for your installation of Respondus will be sent to the e-mail address that was specified. Enter the activation password in Respondus when prompted. (If your permanent activation password doesn’t arrive within a half hour -- or 3 hours if you are using a free e-mail account like Yahoo! -- then click this link to request your permanent activation password again.)
Please Note: Prepaid activation codes can be used only once and are not maintained as part of a user's registration information. Only the "Product ID" entered below is used for registration and update purposes. Also note that prepaid codes can only be used with the most current version of Respondus.
If you want to install Respondus on a second computer for personal use (or move the license to another computer), you can request a second activation password.
Only press Request one time. If you do not press the Request button we will not receive your information. A confirmation screen will appear.
