Yes, if Respondus Lite is already installed, it will continue to function with WebCT 2.1 - 3.6.

I have the installation program for Respondus Lite. Is there a way to obtain an activation password for a new installation?
No, we are no longer supporting Respondus Lite or providing activation passwords for new installations.

Is there a way to move an existing installation of Respondus Lite to another computer?
Unless you do a snapshot of the entire hard drive, there is no way to move Respondus Lite to another computer.

Are Respondus Lite files compatible with the full version of Respondus?
Yes. You can open Respondus Lite files with the full version of Respondus.

Why did Respondus Inc. discontinue its distribution of Respondus Lite?
The most obvious and honest answer to this question is because the cost to develop, distribute, and support Respondus Lite (a free product) began to outweigh the marketing benefits of having it available. Respondus Lite only worked with early versions of one course management system (WebCT), and the eventual differences between "Lite" and the full version of Respondus became considerable. As the regular version of Respondus progressed by leaps and bounds, people who used Respondus Lite never got a glimpse of these new features. Indeed, Respondus Lite was no longer a "limited-task" version of Respondus — it was simply a different program. When we recognized that Respondus Lite had become a marketing liability, we decided to discontinue distribution and support of it.
