LockDown Browser System Requirements

Operating Systems
Windows: 8, 7, Vista, XP
Mac: OS X 10.5 or higher

Windows: 128 MB RAM
Mac: 512 MB RAM

Windows: 4 MB of free hard disk space
Mac: 2 MB of free hard disk space

Windows: The file size is approximately 4 MB.
Mac: The file size is approximately 1 MB.

Windows Users: Internet Explorer 7 or higher must be configured to the minimum requirements for the Learning Management System being used (it does NOT have to be the default browser on the computer). If applicable, Internet Explorer must be able to pass the Learning Management System’s browser check.

Mac Users: The Safari browser must be configured to the minimum requirements for the Learning Management System being used (it does NOT have to be the default browser for the computer).

Respondus LockDown Browser integrates with the following learning management systems:

• Blackboard Learn 8.0 or higher (Basic and Enterprise)
• ANGEL Learning System 7.3 or higher
• Desire2Learn Learning Environment 8.1.3 or higher
• Instructure Canvas
• Moodle 1.9 - 2.x
• Sakai 2.7.1+
