Reinstalling an Older Version of Respondus

If you previously purchased Respondus 1.x/2.x and would like to reinstall Respondus 2.0 according to the terms and conditions for reinstallation, follow these steps:

  1. Locate the original Product ID from the previously purchased copy of Respondus 1.x/2.x. (The original Product ID is shown on the purchase receipt. Or, start the previous installation of Respondus and go to Help>About Respondus.)

  2. Download Respondus 2.0 and run the setup program.

  3. Start the newly installed copy of Respondus 2.0 and obtain the Product ID number.

  4. Request a second activation password. You will be asked to provide the original Product ID and the new Product ID for Respondus 2.0. The new activation password will arrive by email.
